Instrumentation and test systems play an important role in providing new tools, new procedures and new methodologies, which are necessary for the development of advanced sustainable automotive applications. The fourth network-wide school event aims to provide knowledge and competences on how to develop flexible high-standard testing facilities based on advanced instrumentation and cutting-edge testing procedures and technologies. In parallel with the school event a School on Sustainable mobility will be organized for maximum 30 PhD students and young researchers coming from all over the world.

INTERACT presentation at EMMAT BRNO

In november 2019, prof. Claudia Marţiş, UTCN coordinator of INTERACT, presented INTERACT project (consortium, objectives, activities, expected results) in the frame of the International Workshop for E-mobility and sustainable materials and technologies EMMAT, under the International Academic Partnership Programme, funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange of Poland, hosted by the Brno University of Technology, Cech Republic.

INTERACT Third training event at EV 2019

Between 2nd and 4th of October 2019, INTERACT consortium organized the 3rd training event in the frame of ELECTRIC VEHICLES INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & SHOW EV 2019, hosted and organized by ICPE Bucharest.

During the first day (2nd of October 2019) a seminar on Scientific writing and presentation was chaired by prof. Johan Gyselinck from ULB.

In the first day of EV 2019 INTERACT organized a session where 6 scientific papers were presented and a workshop on Special issues in advanced technologies sustainable automotive electrical actuation. Prof. Claudia Martis from UTCN and coordinator of INTERACT made an introduction in requirements engineering and functional safety requirements in automotive applications. Dr. Adrian Pop, from Brose Wurzburg, presented the trends in electrical machines and power electronics in automotive applications.

ELECTRIC VEHICLES INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & SHOW 2019

Between 2nd and 4th of October INTERACT will organize the third training event in the frame of ELECTRIC VEHICLES INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & SHOW 2019, hosted by the ICPE Solar Park, Bucharest, Romania (https://www.evshow.ro/).

The agenda of the event is presented below. The two workshops are opened to the EV 2019 attendees.

The aim of the workshop on Scientific and research writing and presentation is to provide support and guidance to fellows and other attendees for scientific and research writing and presentation.

The workshop on Special issues in advanced technologies sustainable automotive electrical actuation will include two module: (1) one on new technologies, materials and emerging topologies for more-efficient EMs as well as new trends in semiconductors and special topologies for power converters will be presented and discussed and (2) introduction to requirements engineering and functional safety issues in automotive applications.

THIRD TRAINING EVENT, 2-4 OCTOBER, 2019, BUCHAREST

2ND OCTOBER 2019, 10.00-12.00

SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH WRITING AND PRESENTATION.

The aim of this school module is to provide support and guidance to fellows for scientific and research writing and presentation. The following aspects will be integrated in a one-day course: (i) writing articles and conference papers; (ii) preparing and presenting a poster; (iii)  resenting to an audience, at a conference or a workshop or in front of a small group. The module will be implemented as a workshop, including writing and presentation exercises.

4TH OCTOBER 2019, 15.00-16.30:

SPECIAL ISSUES IN ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES SUSTAINABLE AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL ACTUATION.

During two days the module will give to the participants in three courses a rigorous and in-depth knowledge of the key component technologies in EMs and power electronics, and their integration into advanced systems. New technologies, materials and emerging topologies for more-efficient EMs as well as new trends in semiconductors and special topologies for power converters will be presented and discussed. Finally, systems architectures, requirements analysis, design trade-offs, and reliability through case studies and mathematical techniques will be included in a system integration course. The module will include a research assignment to be completed within three months following the school event.
