Above the mandatory requirements of the industry-academia joint PhD program, the fellows have taken  secondments/short-term visits to the other beneficiaries or to institutions outside the consortium, according to her/his specific training needs. The secondments and short-term visits provided fellows with supplementary knowledge and/or complementary skills that are not available at the hosting institutions, however relevant for the success of the sub-project. Secondments and short visits allowed fellows to attend local courses and events and to perform measurements that are not available at the host institutions.
